Members roles and duties

AIBBC is an organization run solely by members under the direction of the organizing committee and officials elected by members at the annual general meeting (AGM) usually held alongside the AIBBC workshops and conference.
As such, each member has a role to play in the organization of AIBBC activities and are strongly encouraged to actively exercise this role to ensure that AIBBC delivers on its mandate of promoting scientific and technological advances in Africa.

• Participate in the AGMs (or any other meetings as called for by the Chair or officials).
• Participate in the election of AIBBC officials.
• Vie to be an official of AIBBC.
• Make annual contributions to support AIBBC activities .
• Publicize AIBBC activities in social media and through other avenues.
• Uphold high standards and scientific ethics in your research undertakings, and actively support activities aimed at supporting scientific and technological growth for the benefit of humanity.
